Mercado San Cristobal is a traditional market in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
It features a mix of antique shops, butchers, grocery stores, seafood vendors, and some service-based stalls like vacuum repair and seamstress services.
Reviews are mixed, with some appreciating its old-school charm, while others point to its neglected state, many closed stalls, and a general feeling of decline.
It may be temporarily closed for repairs.

The market in my neighborhood has been there for a long time, only food, the achuras stand, I will never forget, I haven't been to that area for many years, from what I read it has changed a lot, I think it would make me very sad because of the comments I have made. I read it, maybe I'll be encouraged one day, just to remember what it was like in my time ❤️

The truth is we went on Wednesday 9/14/22, we didn't know him and we were very disappointed, very neglected, in general several used clothing stalls, the truth is I think that going expressly to see him is not worth it….

⚠️ It is temporarily closed (02/18/21). According to the manager of one of the stores, the market is closed for repairs.
The building is really very neglected 😔, when it was open I went in several times and saw many closed stalls, it is very lonely and a little gloomy. I hope they can improve it 💪🏼 It would be very valuable for the community.
