Canberra Potters offers an impressive and diverse collection of handcrafted ceramics that left me and my relatives truly amazed during our visit yesterday. The wide range includes everything from elegant dinnerware to festive Christmas ornaments, showcasing the incredible talent of the potters.
Each piece reflects a perfect blend of creativity and skill, making it ideal for someone who genuinely appreciates unique, handmade artistry. Despite the vast collection, the focus on quality is remarkable, and the reasonable prices make these beautiful items accessible for both personal use and gifting. A must-visit for ceramic enthusiasts and those seeking distinctive holiday gifts!

If I could give this place 100 stars, I would! One of my favourite places in Canberra, with incredibly dedicated and hard working staff, wonderful classes, exhibitions and events and just a great atmosphere overall.

First visit was for the Fired Up festival, which was EXCELLENT though just a tad too crowded to be completely enjoyable. It's a gorgeous space and the pottery they had on display and for sale was absolutely beautiful, but there were just too many people to be able to see things properly or to fully enjoy it. I hope to be able to return for a quieter event and spend a bit more leisurely time.

Despite their classes being so intensely popular that you might have to wait a couple of YEARS to get in itβs a pretty unsatisfying experience if you have a life or get sick. The rules around attendance are so strict you can pay a huge fee and there be no option to make up a session, or finish or glaze a work after the term ends, so you can end up basically twiddling your thumbs for the end of term. In a post COVID world, being sick and staying home should be encouraged, not punished.
