Helen’s Mini Worlds – Terrariums and Plants

Today my partner and I went to Helen’s mini world to make a terrarium for the first time. Although we had both bought wonderful terrariums from them in the past, this was our first attempt at making them. First impressions were that the store is well set out with a huge range of options both in terms of price and experience level. Both Helen and her partner were extremely helpful and talk you through the process with enthusiasm to get people into terrariums while also inviting any question no matter how basic they may be. The whole experience today is well deserving of at least 4-4.5 stars. However, here is where Helen’s mini world go above and beyond. I also took a previously bought terrarium in with me hoping to get some advice as to what I might be doing wrong as it had been looking poorly since the beginning of the year. Not only were they more than willing to give me some advice to help resurrect the plants already there, but as it was a terrarium bought from them (more than 12 months ago might I add) Helen offered to replace some of the plants that she thought wouldn’t survive -free of charge. I explained that this was not what I expected but she was more than happy to do so. She also mentioned remembering my partner when she was in the shop buying it way back then. At the end of the visit, upon purchasing our new terrariums, I was presented with my older one freshly watered and with a healthy few extra plants to fill it out. Helen apologised for not doing more and even offered to do more if I were willing to leave it with her. Sorry for a long-winded review. I believe it’s important for people of Adelaide to know that there are enthusiastic business people out there who take pride in what they offer their customers and go above and beyond to make you feel valued. An amazing experience to share with the people about whom you care, provided by people who really care. Thank you.

We had the most amazing experience celebrating my daughter’s 12th birthday at Helen’s Mini Worlds! From start to finish, Helen was an absolute pleasure to deal with—so organised, accommodating, and full of creative ideas to make the day extra special. The party itself was beautifully run, with so many great touches that made it feel unique and personal. The kids had a fantastic time creating their own terrariums, and Helen’s guidance made it fun and easy for everyone, regardless of skill level. The space was inviting, the materials were varied and high-quality. My daughter and her friends were absolutely thrilled with their creations, and it was such a joy to see them so engaged and proud of their work. If you're looking for a creative, hands-on, and stress-free party experience, I can’t recommend this enough! Thank you, Helen, for making my daughter’s birthday so special!

We did a terrarium workshop. Helen was so warm and engaging, and it was great value for money. Would highly recommend for a fun evening out!

I went with my husband the other week and it was such an amazing experience! It was fun and unique, and we got to take home the cutest terrariums. The store has such a cozy vibe as well!

The staff was very friendly, always ready to help. They are knowledgeable, so you know you're in good hands.

Fun activity to do with friends! 💯❤️ Enjoyed the whole time we were at Helen's Mini Worlds. 🌿 The staff were so friendly and showed us what we need to too. They gave feedback and suggestions while we make our terrariums. The location / shop is also nice, spacious, and conveniently located in Prospect.

If you don't feel like making your own terrarium, they sell ready-made ones which are all very pretty! 💓
