HEB Business Ctr Dr - Two things: (1) While they advertise free curbside, every item you purchase has a higher price than if you bought it in the store. Depending on how many items you buy and the mark up for each one - you could actually be paying a substantial cost for curbside. I consider this misleading at best. Considering the amount of times my order is missing items, I'm not sure what service I am receiving for the money. (2) My experience is that the quality of the fresh products has decreased over the years. I continually am throwing out or returning to the store, produce and other fresh items. On my last visit, I had a short list of 11 items and had to go back to the store and return 4 of them - the lettuce had bugs in it, a bag of powdered milk was ripped and leaking, sausage that had expired and should have been removed from the shelf, and a baking potato that was rotten in the middle. While I realize one customer is not going to affect their bottom line, we won't be buying anything fresh at HEB unless they greatly improve their quality control.

I want to express my concern about products sold in HEB, there are very good ones and there are some that could affect our health as consumers, some of us don’t have time or interest in reading the ingredients of each food product sold in their stores, but I took my time this time. I bought this delicious tostadas, guess what, they have two dangerous ingredients for human health such as yellow 5 and Red 40 which have been banned in Europe and Mexico because they can cause cancer. I’m disappointed about that companies don’t care about health, is it a matter of business only? There are natural ingredients that can substitute those artificial ingredients.

I absolutely cannot get enough of HEB, its my 1 stop shop for EVERYTHING. I love that they use local growers with the freshest produce. Here everything's BETTER.

We love HEB, have been shopping there for years and will continue shopping there. BUT... I feel it needs to be said, this is the second dry product I've bought from there that contains small bugs. The first was plain white flour, large bag. I put them in airtight storage containers when I get home. This one is cornmeal. It has been in the airtight container and I just opened the bag to use to find the same bugs moving throughout. My purpose in posting is that I would not have noticed the first time if I was not paying attention. I really had to look to make sure I was actually seeing what I was seeing. My suggestion is to please check your flour products before using them. Especially, if they are just in a bag as most of the flours are. Thankfully, I have a different brand that I can use.

Worst experience with curbside. I had to call the manager in order to get my delivery. My husband waited more than 1 hour. If you see a car in the parking that doesn’t leave for a long period of time. Please ask them what they ordered, this is common sense and true customer service especially with the cost you are paying. I expect better service.
