Great and high-effiency Staff here. But how can we prevent the trend of this stench from here to south Winnipeg? Every summer Bridgwater and South Pointe smelled like garbage can.

So. Where to begin…. Re shingled my garage. Borrowed buddies dump trailer to make unloading easy (first mistake)
Filled trailer with the shingles, and other household garbage. (Why not). Get to the land fill and follow directions for “Residential Waste) and it takes me to the 4R. Fine. I do my part. You lady asked why I have and I tell her exactly what’s in my dump trailer and she directs me to second person who then tell me what bus take what waste(big signs tell you as well) so I unload and back trailer up each time as sign says. Then I proceed to the scale house. Young man opens window while I’m sitting on the scale. I tell him I’m dumping shingles. He laughs and tells me to pull ahead. I asked again if there will be signs to where to dump and he still say just strait ahead. Pull ahead to third guy holding a broom in his hand. He tells me to back into stall 6. No dumping???
Spend over an hour hand bombing shingles into a bin. (Not happy but figure rules are rules)
Lift box up to get loose gravel and nails(and there was many) to the back of the trailer because why bring a broom. I’m dumping right!??
Guy with broom comes up and says no tipping of trailers (his supervisor just radioed him and I had to drop it down)
I then hear her tell him I should have gone to commercial side to dump the whole damn thing.
So I ask him why at any point nobody advised me of this?? When I was clear of my intentions….
His reply….. “why didn’t I ask”.
City of Winnipegs finest. But again. I guess that’s why they are working there at the landfill. Where is Captain Obvious when you need him…
Winnipeg…. We are so screwed. This is just the start.
Moral of this long winded story. Pay no attention to the signs. Go to Commercial side. Hopefully they know more of what’s going on at this place. And worse case scenario then send you to the other side.

I was MMIW. I was captive very close in proximity to both this and the prairie green landfills. In fact. The person who moved me all the way from the United States literally stated it would “ be nothing to dump me / my remains in either location and NEVER be discovered. “ Please SEARCH. Allow the RCMP and crown to come in and look for us all. Please. Our nation is bleeding as more of us go missing. We are over 10x more likely than any other women / 2S to go missing. And we are rarely found.
