Was looking to expand my garden, and took a 10 ton truck worth of their premium garden mix, which was supposed to be chicken manure, topsoil, sand and moss.

What we actually got was a garbage pile mixed with sand and topsoil, and a driver that drove over my fence posts damaging materials for a current landscape project. They also agreed to call us a day before to schedule a time for delivery, they did not. And showed up at 6:30 a.m. the next day. My two young children were not pleased to have their morning schedule up heaved, nor was I. The driver also was about to drive off with a good 10% of the load stuck to the bed as it was a Dewey morning. I had to personally go get my own shovel and climb into the back to unstick the moist soil stuck to the bed. This got at least another cubic yard out of the back that I would have been short otherwise.

Within the first few days we noticed the high concentration of black spruce cones, taking up loads of space in the garden soil, then all the garbage started to wash to the surface. Of note: straws, bottle shards, flat glass pane shards, light bulbs, nails, a lot of plastic bags, plastic pieces, garden identifier stakes from nurseries, and an absolute ton of fruit stickers from the grocery store.

We purposefully chose the chicken manure mix purely on the intention of avoiding trash. They did a bait and switch on us In our opinion. The sand concentration is so high it does not retain moisture well, and as I hand shoveled the entire pile, I have not seen any sphagnum moss. The dirt itself smells like Pine-Sol, it appears that all the wood chips were from black spruce trees, and judging by the amount of cones, they use the entire tree. My original garden dirt that I watered twice last year is shadowed by the 10 times I've had to water and it's not the end of June.

I included the original mixed data sheet that has been now taken down, and a picture of what one garden bed is washed up/found while filling it.

In conclusion, the front end staff were friendly and communicative, the management portion of the transaction was terrible, The driver/delivery was in a rush, and no after service call to ensure customer satisfaction.
