I absolutely love the second hand stuff I get here. Very clean for the most part and well checked for cleanliness. Wash when purchased before using of course .... But for the most part, no yucky surprises have come my way-EVER!

Scam artists at work.
Count your refundables, they WILL short change you almost every time otherwise. On my last visit, I should have recieved about 7$, and got just over 4$. With 84 cans, 17 odd cartons of juices and some milk cartons, the refundable amount is well above the 4$ I got back. They never provide a copy of the reciept either.
This has been going on for quite some time. A year ago, not so much, but these days, it's almost every time we go in there now. It's a classic scam, enter everything in correct, short change the customer, and pocket the rest.
Otherwise, the staff cannot count. Looks bad either way.

Did not pay the posted rates. Shorted bay almost half. We will not buy any more plastics in the Yukon Territory if we can help it.

we were here to recycle all our cans and bottles from our four weeks camping trip. as germans we are not used to the canadian system but the staff here was very kind and helpfull.

They are doing the dirty work so we stay clean. Gotta respect that!
When it comes to recycling, They all are great and fast with math. Can’t tell if the calculations are correct cuz I couldn’t keep up.
