Canberra Sand and Gravel – Hume Yard

Arrived during advertised opening hours for 1 easy cube of gravel and get rudely told they are closed when the gates are open and website says its open till 3. Unacceptable whether near closing or not. Last time using csc.

1st visit on Saturday October long weekend. After walking the yard looking at what’s available walked into the site office to ask about pricing was given a price by the loader of one item asked about something else was directed by the loader to the lady at the PC at the same desk, who proceeded to say “pricing is on the wall”, then without a pause said “oh, guess you want me to read it for you”. Was uncalled for and rude.

So we went to Corkhill bros instead, staff were lovely and helpful there and bought several cubic mtrs for the job.

Won’t be going back to CSG.

Read reviews about poor service and could tell who they were aimed at immediately. Lady at front desk was extremely rude and made me resent giving them my money

Absolutely amazing Loader driver Yehya, not a drop of my vegi mix outside the trailer he literally did a perfect drop centered, and everything, in all my years never seen such perfection 👌. Both gents I dealt with were pleasant, and it was very refreshing. Thank you for your awesome customer service
