Checked Hobart City Council website before I left home with a trailer to get a load of compost. Arrived at 12.03. Told the ONLY person onsite who can drive the loader was on break for 1 hr and will be back at 1pm. Apologetic staff member. But for a facility this size, surely you would have two loader drivers on at any one time to cover staff breaks. Or simply advertise NO mulch from 12-1pm. It ain’t that hard to inform your customers. Suggest calling ahead to make sure they are open. Once the phone starts ringing non stop they might decide to update their websites.

Always banger deals, it's such a blast looking through the treasure trove of stuff. I didn't get something stuck in my eye, thankfully.

The place is amazing, the facility is modernized and everything feels much better compares to other tip ship around the hobart area, the tipping area are all very clean and the staffs are all very friendly, there was only a small issue that when i stepped out of my car there was some dirt stuck on my boots. Overall i would definitely recommend tipping at this facility when you are in the area PS: the green waste is cheaper here is cheaper compares to other tip around hobart.
