Worth the trip to the otherwise ugly and busy downtown area. Good to see some local products for sale. Some good specialty shops and a good cafe with fantastic coffee (Cafe do Mercado). Good spot also for juices.

Great local market with fresh veggies, meat, seafood, wine, products; needs for every chef.
