Absolutely hopeless staff. Rang to ask if a specific product was in stock. Was told yes we have it. Drove all the way out there to find they DIDNT. NOT HAPPY. Won’t bother going there ever again! Stick to Bunnings or Allan’s I say. Aside from that, you walk in and no one welcomes you. You walk out with nothing and no one asks if there is anything they can help you with. Just plain appalling customer service whichever way you look at it!

I've used Tas Mulch for top soil and mulch over the years. They have a great quality product at fair prices, and very reliable service. This is the best place to go in greater Launceston.

This morning, I was awoken from my fitful slumber by a man bashing heavily on my front door. After a horrible sleepless night nursing a massive cold, I reckon I hit the ceiling in shock. I gazelle leapt from my bed and peeked out the window. I notice a Tas Mulch truck parked outside my home. The man bashing on my front door had not yet re-appeared in my driveway….clearly because they were perusing my property. I know this as the man appeared in a totally different part of my driveway. He then walked back to my automatic front gates and literally FORCED them open to vacate my property. I watched him squeeze and push himself through with all the grace of a steer bogged in mud. Why would one even do that when there’s a pedestrian gate a few feet down from my driveway gates? Yes, a pedestrian gate that opens easily for one to walk through. I was so horrified i quickly looked at your business contact number on the side of your truck and rang it. A ‘gentleman’ (using this term loosely) answered the phone.

Me - “Hi, I’m at Gravelly Beach and there’s a delivery man from your business walking around my property. He has the wrong address and forced his way through my automatic closed gates.”

Desk clerk - “Gravelly Beach? What address is that?”

Me - “Why do you need the address? I don’t need to give out my address. If you tell me the address the delivery man is supposed to be at and I can guide you.”

Desk clerk *sighs* - “Look! We’re done here, allright?”

Desk clerk hangs up on me.

Yes, you terminated my call.

Is this your usual procedure when one does not wish to provide private information that is completely irrelevant? Is this your usual protocol to not even provide an apology and strive for a solution when one awakes to a strange man walking around their property?

Obviously it is.

As the first point of call for a business you are the ‘face’ of that company. It is important that this ‘face’ is professional and approachable. In the event of a misunderstanding of the address by your delivery man this ‘face’ should action genuine empathy and understanding, followed with an apology and a solution the customer feels appropriate.

You failed dismally.

Not really impressed. Made promises that weren't met. No call back when arranged. Left me waiting and waiting for much needed materials. No option but to buy elsewhere. Job delayed because of it.

Fantastic range of landscaping products, and really genuine friendly service. Paul and his team go out of their way to help and give excellent advice based on your needs. My bulk delivery was handled with no fuss. I highly recommend Tas Mulch.
