Panet 4R Winnipeg Depot offers recycling for electronics, batteries, light bulbs, and engine oil.

Reviews are mixed, with praise for convenience, helpful staff, and accepting various items.

Complaints mention inconvenient hours, closures on Wednesdays, refusal of certain electronics, and restrictions based on vehicle type (commercial plates, tandem axle trailers, or trucks deemed too large).

Some suggest extending hours and improving the unloading process to address these issues, particularly with regards to restrictions.

Very Nice people who work hard over there to help you with whatever needs to get to those bins! Great people!

Why close on Wednesdays of all days and why not be open at 8am. I'm sure they could operate with half the staff and extend the hours or even open another one on the west side of the City.

Happy to have in the community. Just wish you would be open later in the spring, summer & fall months. Until 8:00pm sounds good to me!

They took batteries, light bulbs, and even engine oil. They didn't want to take printer cartridges and even some electronics. Having resources on where to take these would have been helpful.

It's a straight forward situation. Drive up, tell them what I got, then they'll tell you where to go! There may be a small fee, depending on the items being dropped off, BUT it's the responsible and civic thing to do.

From what I mean remember last time I was there they had limited hours, which was somewhat frustrating, as it's the only one on the east side that I know of. At least put the cardboard and other "free" recyclable bins "outside".
