Beautiful!!! The Luisa Escudero Artisan Market, worth visiting, beautiful crafts and what one learns about our culture, our artisans, and the ancestor. We went in January 2025. Very good!!! the attention. Super recommended to tourists. Suggestion, if they can open in the afternoon it would be great!!!

Beautiful place not only to learn more about the history of the different communities that inhabited the area through crafts but also to bring a good souvenir or give a gift that is native. It is like a museum of local crafts, what has a white sign is a permanent exhibit and what has a red sign can be purchased. I am from Buenos Aires so the prices seemed very cheap to me except for the textiles such as ruanas or scarves which were worth $250,000, but it is understandable that it is very delicate craftsmanship and it shows. I took a sugar bowl and wooden bowl, the quality and fine work behind each piece is incredible, literally each piece is unique 😍

Wonderful works in basket weaving, textiles, leather.... (and the visit is free). However, it is not clear to me what audience it is aimed at....., will it only be for the rich? (e.g. a scarf 200,000 pesos - today that is 160 dollars). How much does the artisan receive when his product is sold? ..... The visit is still free, and worth it.

The artesian crafts that are exhibited are beautiful, the relationship between price and quality, more than quality, the love of making things that San Juan artisans have.

Absolutely beautiful things - the best of quality and range we’ve seen on our whole trip. I just can’t believe they don’t take cash payments making it very difficult to purchase anything. :(
