We had so much fun picking up vegetables to add to a pasta and grab some fruit. Friendly people and reasonable prices

On our way to Pismo Beach, we had decided to stop at a township called San Luis Obispo (SLO). I had been told that it was very good. To get there we drove through vineyards etc - so it was quite pleasant and only about 15 minutes from where we were staying. It was a real US 'apple pie' type of town. It had a Spanish theme about it, with a blend between historic and new style. We really enjoyed just wondering around the downtown and at the Markets we even a proper lunch (not a burger !!).
