only accessible for a few hours on a Sunday. I'm devastated this is the only community garden option available in this area

Enjoyable trip with volunteers working the gardens. I attended because the Yeronga Community Centre organises educatonal sessions there for 'floodies' but probably others are welcome too, check the Yeronga Community Gardens FB site.

My first visit there today, did some weeding, meet some of the regulars & look forward to becoming becoming a regular myself. A lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon 🌱🙂🌱

Well managed community garden with a composting hub - drop off your vegie scraps into one of the bins near the fence, easily accessible from the street. There's a box of. The fence for produce you can help yourself to, or come on a Sunday at 3pm to help out and pick your own.
