Went again to the Farmers Market one Saturday in March and found a range of fresh vegies eggs fruit all of decent quality. Special interest was the variety of potatoes which intrigued us too. Of course being seasonal they were different to our November visit in 2023 We had in 2023 enjoyed our avocado purchase but here is the BIG disappointment. We asked the very chatty woman for some that we could consume the next day and after great flourish and much information giving on her type of avocardos suggested one for the next day and another for mid week They were both very small sized fruit which we took home to Perth To our surprise shock the midweek fruit described as a sharwell remained hard ! On the 8th day since purchase we decided to cut it . It was rock hard Remember the vendor suggested time was 3 days ….. So what was all that flourish and drama in going thru a range of her boxed fruit and coming up with 2 wee fruits costing $4.50 where only 1 was edible ? Extremely shocked esp when we were so thrilled with our November experience in 2023 An observation while we stood waiting while the vendor raved about the various characteristics of her fruit to a young American tourist before she attended to us waiting patiently n listening NOBODY else bought her fruit …. Do they know something that we don’t? I wonder? By the way Nobody was allowed to touch any of the fruit ..,she alone and another young assistant handle the fruit till it was handed over to us and paid for …. Such a fiasco such a drama of great proportions !!! All to purchase a couple of unripe sharwells supposedly creamy and delicious What made the avocados rock hard and fail to ripen ? The rest of the market produce esp the variety of fresh flowers from one very polite grower was phenomenal….. cottage flowers so different to those sold in supermarkets. Unfortunately we were unable to buy these n we were on track to drive back to Perth in a hot car !!

Good place to find fresh items. Small place but well managed. Trying best to promote local farmers. Fruits, vegetables, dairy, honey, fish meat. Few stalls for sip n munch. Friendly environment.

Felt it was small with limited stalls and produce. Personally, it was a little disappointing compared to other markets in Margaret River, Busselton and other major towns that I have visited. Obviously, as a visitor, I am unsure if it changes at different times in the year but not really a draw card for tourists.

Located in the centre of town, on Collie Street, just up from the Duke Street roundabout. It is only held on Saturdays (8am-12pm). It is a true farmers market with a range of fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables for sale, as well as baked goods, seafood and dairy products.

It is not particularly large and there are limited food options - dumplings, pastries and a dessert truck. As we were travelling through, we didn't end up buying much but if we were here longer, we'd definitely stock up on some supplies.
