Mercado Municipal Adolpho Lisboa is a popular market in Manaus, Brazil, with a 4.6 rating. It’s known for handicrafts, souvenirs, food, drinks, and local products.
Many reviewers highlight it as a great place for tourists to find souvenirs, local remedies, and Amazonian fish. Some find the prices high and the market hot and crowded.
It’s housed in a historic building with two distinct facades. The market offers a variety of goods, from fruits and tapioca to fish and everyday items, but some shops may be closed, and it can get dirty with unpleasant smells, which can be a problem for those looking for a great place with local products.

Finally a “mercado” in Brazil that represents the place with respect to the tourist! Clean and lots to observe! Great place to eat an authentic açaí!

Great market. Sells everything from local herbal remedies to fish and local crafts. Good options for food and drink too

This is basically a veeeery big souvenir shop. So if you need magnets, soaps, Cachaça or anything else to bring home, that’s the place to go to in Manaus!

A local market offering meats, grains, and more. Also great for souvenirs, everyday items. It was closer to closing but still very busy. On Sunday, they close at 4. There are a lot of shops bordering the market as well; fabric, appliances, beauty. You name it, it is there.
