Taberna do Chef Procópio, located in the Mercado Adolpho Lisboa, is a restaurant within a grand 1800s edifice inspired by Paris’s Les Halles.
It features a crafts bazaar, fish market, and cafes. The market offers handicrafts, local products, and Amazonian food.
Reviews are mixed, with praise for the food and service, but some find it overpriced. It’s considered a must-go attraction for visitors.
The market also has fish and meat vendors and food stalls.

I had the best mashed potatoes I have ever eaten at this restaurant. I like the service, too.

Food was ok, but a bit overpriced! The dessert was crazy expensive. I had ice cream for dessert and it turned out the price is the same as main course! 39 R$ .

We went on a Sunday and the food and service was amazing. Food was delicious and offered a a unique dining experience with a nice breeze even in the middle of the day.

Gem in downtown Manaus. Great food by a former 5-star hotel chef with amazing Amazonian food and fantastic service.

This is actually the mercado Adolfo Lisboa, but on maps keeps showing up as this taberna. Market is a tourist souvenir market. OK, but not great, although better than local souvenir shops.
