Best Vietnamese crispy pork roll I've had, outside of Vietnam! Laid back, friendly atmosphere, nice selection of produce and food.

The farmers markets has gone downhill the past year and a half with many producers leaving. We used to be able to buy most of the fresh produce we needed at these markets and now purchase fewer things we need. Itβs an incredible shame to witness how what once was a bustling market, sets to lose farmers selling their goods and the community being forced to shop elsewhere.

Great variety of produce stores oppose to hemp clothing, setup the markets across the road though because this is the only market in Newcastle and Maitland charging for car parking = $3.
Markets become very quiet after 12pm.

Newcastle City Farmers Markets are great. Parking is well organised but don't forget your $3 parking coins. Such a wide selection of home grown and home cooked produce. The freshest of fruit, veg, meats, olives, honey. You name it and I'm sure it's there. There's even great music to sit and enjoy while sampling some of the goodies. Definitely head over on a Sunday. I'm sure you'll love it as do I.
