I have attended a couple of different workshops now and have thoroughly enjoyed them. Emma is an amazing instructor with such individual creative flair and her encouraging nature which makes the whole experience of attending these classes so much fun. It’s so refreshing to learn a craft that is very different to everything else creativity wise, from someone who works outside of the norm. Thanks so much Emma, I’m looking forward to attending again soon.

I attended the Floristry Foundations Course in May 2024. Emma is a passionate, innovative and highly skilled Florist (honed over 25+ years in the industry both here and abroad). She has a great sense of fun, an exceptional eye for detail and an infectious enthusiasm. I admired her dedication to sustainable floristry and her comprehensive (and very realistic) coverage of what one can expect if embarking on a career in Floristry. Be prepared to pay very close attention in the practical lessons and (have the time to) practice at home - Emma is a fair but no-nonsense teacher. I was especially impressed with the generosity of flowers we had to work with and the diversity of styles we covered. The trip to the flower market and tour was a highlight and made us mindful of how fortunate we are to have such a selection and really dedicated suppliers. Great course - super Teacher.

I recently completed the floristry foundations course with Emma and it was amazing! Emma is really knowledgeable and really knows how to communicate and teach effectively. She's also extremeky skilled in her field and is so inspiring. She's realistic in her expectations of beginners but didn't let us have low executions of any of our works. Emma's passion for flowers and floristry really stood out to me throughout the course and it really comes through in her teaching. She just wants the best for us and it was super encouraging.

I really can't say enough good things about the program. We learnt a range of skills that are the basis of all florist techniques and really encouraged us to practice and expand our capabilities. Being able to take the flowers home from every session to practice was an amazing tool that really made it easier to learn harder skills.

If anyone is thinking about a career in floristry, I highly recommend starting with Emma at the West End Flower School!

I had the privilege to attend a few classes with Emma and experience first hand her expertise, excellent teaching skills and care for her students. From somene with little to zero knowledge of flowers and arrangments, her classes inspired me to look at plants and flowers with new interest. I also had my family visiting me from Italy and I asked Emma to organise a class for them, especially for my mum who was turning 70s. We had the class on the day of her birthday and, needless to say, it was an amazing and deeply emotional experience for everyone. My mum'sjoy at the end of Emma's class was the perfect birthday gift (just look at the photo!)

Emma presents a diverse and detailed range of floral art options. I've done several and they are all marvellous. I highly recommend them to anyone who has an interest in the beautiful presentation of plants to enhance many aspects of life. Brilliant!
