A lovely collection of native Tasmanian trees and the opportunities to sight platypus are plentiful. It is was a relaxing, peaceful place to walk amongst the trees and experience some wonder & awe.

This was the 2nd time we had visited the Arboretum while on a holiday to Tasmania. It is a beautiful place to walk around particularly if you love trees and the bird life is amazing. The parking is free with a $10 entry fee which is definitely worth it to help keep this wonderful place maintained. There are picnic areas so bring a packed lunch. There is a small kiosk that serves light refreshments and had a small range of souvenirs.
