This is one stunning botanical garden loaded with many varieties of Australian natives, well manicured grassed areas for recreational use, accessible paths and a WW2 memorial. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be back to explore more. 2 cafes and a visitors centre. Photographers will spend hours on their macro shots here. Also, great views of the city.

Very nice walk away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can walk along the perimeter of the park, which would give you a nice elevated view of the city. I did the most basic popular walk to the elevated bridge (it was sweltering hot that day), but you can drop by the information centre where they will be able to help advise the trails you can walk.

Amazing views of the city and the Swan River. Kings Park is perfect for a walk, a chill picnic, or just to clear your head. The gardens are super well-kept, and there's plenty of space to explore. I really enjoyed the treetop walkway, and the sky views are unreal.
I stayed to watch the sunset and the city lights at night β totally worth it. The green grass is super soft, perfect for lying down and relaxing. Itβs peaceful, clean, and you can even get here for free using the Blue CAT buses. Such a nice escape right in the middle of the city.

My favourite botanic gardens in Perth! Never fail to come here on my countless trips to Perth. The Kokoda trail is steep and provides a great workout and the view of the city is amazing. You might be lucky to see various birds too

A beautiful park that has a wide range of fantastic plants within it. I would recommend going to look for a free tour that is occurring in the park as the guides are helpful and provide a wide range of unusual places to visit inside too.
