I’m giving one star today because of the kind man who greeted me with a "good morning" when I walked into the nursery. Unfortunately, the rest of my experience was disappointing. I was looking for some flowering plants and saw a few on a trolley. I asked a woman wearing a purple Yarralumla Nursery T-shirt for help, and she rudely told me to for someone called 'Maddy', as she only worked inside and couldn't help me.
I then approached two people in the outside area but had no idea which one was "Maddy," so I asked them. They both looked like they couldn't believe I was interupting their chat. One girl barely acknowledged me, and when I finally asked if she could assist, she walked over to the trolley, said she didn’t know the cost, and walked off. Later, she came back and said the price would be similar to a smaller pot nearby, but by then, I had lost all interest.
Given the high prices at this nursery, I expected much better service, especially from staff who were dismissive and unhelpful. The service and value at the nurseries in Pialligo are far superior, and I won’t be returning to this location.

Great nursery with comprehensive range of plants especially those suited to Canberra and region. Friendly knowledgeable staff. My grandkids had a ball choosing their next plants to care for.

I loved the location of this nursery, the setup, the selection of plants... that, plus positive reviews have built a fair amount of trust that contributed to us spending big for the last few years. Well, the trust has expired. As the purpose of the business is to sell good quality products, and it's not what you are selling. Someone somewhere is not doing a proper duty of care to make sure the product sold is of good quality. Anyway, the examples. We purchased Fruiting Wonders Jostaberry (Plants of Toolangi Distinction) what ever those words mean... this monstrosity is in its third year and it's not fruiting, at all. It's already of monster size, occupies prime position in the garden and does bugger all. Another one, Gooseberry Captivator. Same story, it has captivated our attention by not fruiting. I understand these are selective plants, with lots of promises on the labels, but they are blatantly lying and you should be verifying those claims. UPDATE: I appreciate the owner's reply and added a star for that. However wrt to soil, there is nothing wrong with the soil, and other trees are fruiting well, including these guys doing well too, they are robust and turned into mighty bushes, but no fruit. Cheers

One star solely on the after care service. Plants were great. The floor staff were friendly enough and knowledgeable. Purchased $$$$ and paid for delivery and was told someone would call to arrange for delivery. Items delivered and left in garage on the same day without any notice while I was out.
Turned out one plant was missing so I called to inquire. Staff on the phone was so defensive and infuriating. I was made to count purchased plants and items multiple times. She kept saying ALL items were already delivered. Well, it ain’t here, lady. Last time I was this exasperated was when Albenese won the election.
Turned out the missing plant was still sat at the nursery cos someone forgot to load it onto the truck, according the delivery man. Oh but that’s okay cos said staff called me back saying she’s happy to give me a “replacement”. Last time I checked, you only get a replacement when you’ve already received an item. But hey.. at least I didn’t have to be interrogated any further for the plant I paid for 🤷♀️
Never mind the discount coupon I got from the purchases, I’m not going back 😒
