We had a fantastic experience with the purchase of a beautiful Japanese maple . Both Pearl and the owner John went above and beyond to assist us during the selection process through to the delivery including excellent onsite advice. We highly recommend this wonderful nursery with its high quality stock and knowledgeable, helpful staff.

Priced themselves out of their corner of the market. The previous owner, as other older reviews have indicated was grumpy … but he was fair! The nursery was different to the other nurseries, his variety was different, his pricing was very reasonable and he valued return customers (he remembered us on our visits). We landscaped our entire house through this nursery. We spent a small fortune. We visited today and the new owners have improved the environment completely. It is now like all of the other high quality and expensive nurseries in Canberra. The point of difference has been lost! To be honest the prices are ludicrous! They have priced themselves out of the corner of the market this nursery used to dominate! I don’t think we will be back, not unless the prices reduce dramatically.

Love this place! Plants are abundant and healthy with so many options. Excellent layout, great range of pots etc and very friendly staff. I wish my garden was bigger so I could indulge in all that they offer.

The negative reviews posted here are 4-6 years old, prior to the change of hands. They should therefore be removed, as current service is good. But in defence of the guy who ran the nursery before, yes, he had a grumpy manner, but he was actually good-hearted, e.g. generous with prices for frequent customers. Plus his stock catered better to Asian styles of gardens, and had pond plants. The new management has reverted to a mainly European model, with no sense of the percentage of Asian and numerous other Australians more interested in, e.g. Japanese gardens.

Bought a beautiful standard weeping Japanese maple on the weekend with no label. Was not really happy when staff couldn't actually confirm which species it was. I thought it was a Viridus but they couldn't confirm and didseem that interested in investigating further for me.
