Tulipanes Patagonia is a scenic destination in Chubut, Argentina, featuring over 1 million tulips that bloom for a short period, typically in October.
The site offers a beautiful landscape with the Andes mountains as a backdrop, along with amenities like a snack bar, food trucks, and a bar serving pizza and salads.
Visitors can walk around the tulip field, enjoy the tea room, and purchase homemade jams.
The entrance fee is around 20,000 Argentine pesos per person, with a 10% discount for cash payments.
While the scenery is breathtaking, some visitors have noted a lack of infrastructure and high prices.
The best time to visit is when the tulips are in full bloom, and it’s recommended to check the schedule before going as the blooming period is short and varies from year to year.

I went the last week of October, full flowering. A beautiful spectacle to visit with time. The mountain range in the background and a sunny day are the ideal setting for the best memories.

Bad, lack of infrastructure and they charge 20 thousand pesos for a ticket. It wasn't raining, but it rained recently and it's completely muddy, there's no paved or gravel path. You have to put a bag on your feet and pray not to fall. Since it was completely muddy, it wasn't possible to go through the tulips and I ended up not taking any photos (because none of them turned out well). I don't recommend it without the sun!!

It is excellent to see the flowers arranged and varied colors, a beauty to enjoy. The unpleasant thing for me is that around it is in bad taste a tall and thick grass to park in the sun, also around the tulips everything is untidy, they charge 10/24 20000 per person no matter if you are a resident or retired, very little for Sit on a log or board, so it depends if there are more than 20 people there is no place. So you pay to see someone's business

The place, when it is in full bloom, is something unique and truly exciting. Framed by snow-capped mountains... It's incredible. It's a fairy tale. You have to stick to the dates, I went on 10/23 and it was full but make sure you go at that time because otherwise it doesn't make much sense.
The entrance fee is excessive in my opinion ($20,000) since there are no guides, there are no great explanations other than a video that is played in a room. You walk alone, you spend a while admiring the beautiful countryside. But nothing more, that is, you paid 20 thousand pesos...
There are some "carts" or foodtrucks (ponele) that sell smoothies or some choripanes/empanadas, but nothing else.
The cars are a little far away so keep that in mind if you go with older people or people with reduced access to roads.
The "tea house" as I read there is no such thing. It is a bar that is up two stairs so it is a beautiful view, but they don't have the slightest attitude to serve. They only make pizza and salads and I half begged for a small toast that cost $5000. With a little more vibe, good will and a menu of few products... It would be a spectacular place.
The course itself is beautiful and exciting and deserves 10 stars. But the price of admission vs. Service is bad. Added to the fact that you have to go there (a taxi from Trevelin costs $15,000)...
They could improve a lot to make it a recommendable experience.

Beautiful!!!! I went today (10/16/2024). Half of the tulip field was open, the other half was not yet. But the spectacle was complete! Beautiful flower field! It is worth seeing the flowers with the Andes in the background! A spectacle! I believe that from now on it only gets better! Go if you are around here. Price: 20,000 Argentine pesos per person, they accept card but give a 10% discount for cash payments, so it is worth it! There is a snack bar and some food trucks with algajores, fruits and barbecue. You can also bring your own snack and eat there. Free parking. There was a small line but it was very quick, about 10 minutes.
